OR Cardiovascular RN's in High Demand Nationwide

OR Cardiovascular RN's in High Demand Nationwide

CVOR Registered Nurses are needed in operating rooms across the country. There are more jobs available than there are nurses to fill them at this point in time. Travel nursing continues to grow as hospitals and facilities use travel nurses to fill these positions.

Lake Worth FL, Orange CA, Owensboro KY, Tyler TX, Boston MA, Macon GA, Ocala FL and Austin TX were just a few of the CVOR jobs posted when I did a quick search today. Do any of these places sound interesting to you? Or do you have a particular state or city in mind that you would like to visit for a little longer than normal, say….13 weeks or so?

The RN/CVOR normally work in surgery centers, hospitals, clinics and sometimes in private physicians offices. Working in this environment can be high pressure and will require quick thinking and the ability to remain calm in a crisis. Surgical nurses work in a dynamic and challenging environment and often must take on key roles in lifesaving surgical procedures and care. Surgeries can last several hours and the RN must remain on their feet.

Dealing with patients and their families is a big part of this job as well. Good communication skills and lots of compassion and tact is necessary when dealing with worried patients and/or grieving family members. Working in the OR environment can be rewarding and heartbreaking.

So, what do you think? Think travel nursing might be for you? Here are a few job options for RN/CVOR that are available now and waiting for you if you are ready to go!

In Florida today we found CVOR jobs listed in Key West, Daytona Beach, and West Palm. Who doesn't want to visit sunny Florida, especially in the cold winter months? Adventure awaits the sun seeker in Florida.

How about some Rocky Mountain adventures in Colorado? Skiing, hiking, exploring. Colorado has it all for the outdoor adventurer and of course lots to do for everyone else as well in this breathtakingly beautiful state.

And, of course I would always have to vote YES when it comes to anything to do with Hawaii. Have you been there? Are you ready to go explore the Pacific Ocean and the beautiful Hawaiian Islands?

I bet it's warmer in New Mexico this winter. Dry air is always good for a change and New Mexico has so many great adventures just waiting for your exploration!

The diversity in California would probably take multiple assignments in different locales to experience. From the mountains, to the giant redwoods, to the deserts, beaches, big cities and so much more. California or Bust! San Francisco, Sacramento, LA, who knows?

Obviously, there are jobs available wherever you may like to travel. Let's get started on your next travel nurse adventure.
