We definitely want to take time to honor all you hard working travel nurses and RN's out there busting your butts every day. Did you know that National Nurses Week is set on the same dates every year to coincide with Florence Nightingale's birthday on May 12? Florence Nightingale is known as the founder of modern nursing.

The theme for this year's National Nurses Week is: "Nurses: Inspire, Innovate, Influence." We all can recall nurses who have inspired us along the path, have taught us innovative procedures and had an influence on our lives and the lives of hundreds, if not thousands, of patients during the course of their career. And we also know that there are plenty of professionals doing these things each day as well in the healthcare industry today.

Graduate nurses are also included in the festivities that are to celebrate all nurses. We here at HealthCareTravelers.com want to extend our thanks to all the hard working Travel Nurses and all the RN's in permanent positions as well.
