Shoes are high on the list for comfort for travel nurses and healthcare professionals on the move.
If your feet hurt, you hurt, and a hurting nurse is not what a hurting patient needs. The choices are as wide as the variety of shoes themselves.
So, how do we know which shoes are the best for us. First, you need to know your feet. Are you suffering with heel pain, plantar fasciitis, flat feet, wide feet, or other issues? Comfortable shoes are not only about comfort.Promoting quality posture and spinal alignment, and preventing long term issues are factors as well. Shoes should lessen foot and/or back pain, help with balance, and reduce stress and discomfort.
That is a huge bill to fill.
Here is a list of some of the better shoes we found after research online:
Dansko Womens Professional Mule
Sanita Womens Original Pro-shade Mule
Skechers Womens Premium Premix slip-on sneaker
Cherokee Women's Peacock Work Shoe
Dickies Twin Gore Step in Shoe "Intense"
Womens Nurse Mates Dove Slip on Loafers

It seems as most of these listed are for women and we know you male travelers need good shoes too so there are a few on the list that are unisex.
Don't forget to wear those compression socks while working !! If your feet still ache, try a good pair
