Fluoride,Toxic or Safe in your Drinking Water?

Fluoride,Toxic or Safe in your Drinking Water?

Believe it or not, fluoride is still being added, intentionally, to many municipal water supplies under the guise of preventing tooth decay. Really? Fluoride is a neurotoxic, endocrine-disrupting and bone-weakening substance. It is a drug, and a dangerous one.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recently issued a "Warning Letter" about Fluoride and has called on a manufacturer to cease selling fluoride drops and tablets immediately. The FDA has never approved fluoride drugs as either safe or effective for cavity prevention. And, of course, fluoride is in almost every over-the-counter toothpaste available, even natural ones. You have to specifically search out one that is fluoride free.

But the biggest worry is your tap water. Cities and towns across America continue to add almost the same dose of fluoride contained in prescription drops, to each glass of water you and your children drink! No supervision required for them to poison you and they are doing it without your consent.

It has been found in recent studies that the only benefit in preventing cavities was when the fluoride was applied topically, not ingested. The new information shows that fluoride's main, if not only, benefit comes from topical application, no need for swallowing any drops or tablets.

Once again, it's up to you. Take care of yourself and listen to your body. I choose the no fluoride route myself, but the choice is yours and that, of course, is the beauty of it!
