Yep, that's right. California pays the big money for healthcare travelers and traveling nurses. Some of the top paying cities in California are San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, Long Beach, LA and San Diego. And who doesn't want to visit California? There is such diversity from north to south and east to west in this beautiful state on the coast of the Pacific Ocean.

San Jose is the center of the Silicon Valley and the largest city in Northern California with a population of a little over a million people. There are lots of fun things to do and cool things to see in this area.

And the list goes on….San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, San Diego, Long Beach….and there are many more beautiful cities in this state and of course travel nurses are needed in almost all of them.

You could plan for a nice warm, winter stay in sunny Southern California later this year or even visit Northern California for some more winter oriented fun? That's the beauty of being a healthcare traveler. If you have two years in your specialty and a BSN in nursing, you really do have the opportunity to go and do what you want and be where you want to be in today's market.
