​Spring can mean a new start. I love when the flowers start blooming and the leaves are returning to the trees. Warm weather and the longer days are ahead and it's time to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. Many people get a sense of awakening or rejuvenation when Spring arrives. Here are a few tips from the Huffington Post to brighten up your brain with some spring cleaning!

Sit down and take a hard look at your life. Write down and answer some questions about yourself honestly. 

What drains your energy? What are you wasting your time on? What are your stress buttons? and What is holding you back from your happiness? What are you looking forward to? Have you set any goals for the new year? 

Start moving forward toward a more positive outcome. Change your story and clean out the old! Get rid of all the useless junk and baggage like anger, self-doubt and your black cloud and remember it's Spring! Stop activities you want to stop and start new ones you've been thinking about. The time is now to do what you want to do and make every day a better one!

Organization is always a good thing before you get busy with a new job or assignment. If you are organized your transition will be much easier and you will be more at ease in your new surroundings when starting new travel assignments. Tie up those loose ends.

Open your mind to new ideas and new things. Try something new. There are probably lots of great things to explore in the area you have chosen to work. Learn something you never knew. Life is all about the journey, not the destination!
