5 Motivational Quotes that Can Help You Kickstart an Otherwise Frustrating Day

5 Motivational Quotes that Can Help You Kickstart an Otherwise Frustrating Day

Not every day starts out as a great day. As the Carpenters said, "rainy days and Mondays always get me down." But days when the sun is shining, or even a Friday, can be frustrating as well, depending on a variety of events. But before you let the day get to you, consider these quotes that can help you kick start a frustrating day or improve your mood to make things better.

"Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm." -Winston Churchill

The best leaders learn from their mistakes. They don't hide from them and they won't try to blame someone else. To be truly successful you need to understand that failure is a part of the process and continue trying to better yourself and your experience.

"Try not to become a person of success, but rather try to become a person of value." – Albert Einstein

Of course, success isn't always the ultimate goal. If you're feeling frustrated, take a step back and ask yourself the question in a different way. How can you do this task to provide the most value to the people around you?

"You can do anything, but not everything. – Anonymous

One of the most frustrating things we can do to ourselves is try to take on too many tasks all at once. When you do too much, you don't to any of it well. Take a step back and prioritize the work ahead and concentrate on each individual aspect. One step at a time has always been an effective process.

"Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice." – Wayne Dyer

Everyone has a bad day. It isn't a sign of weakness when you do. But if you're feeling down about things that you could easily change, try to alter your attitude. You will be surprised when you decide to approach a situation with positivity rather than negativity.

"People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing." – Dale Carnegie

Lastly, maybe you need to reconsider not only your approach but your tasks over all. Did you enjoy your job once? How do you feel about it now? What can you change that will bring back the passion that you felt before? Even a small adjustment can help brighten things up.
